Why this pick
Like Torso, it turns a partial clue and an unseen killer into sleek, escalating giallo suspense, with stylish urban imagery and investigative tension.
Why this pick
A school-adjacent murder mystery with a similarly grim, sensual giallo atmosphere, mounting suspicion, and a clue-driven search for a killer.
Why this pick
It exchanges Torso’s cosmopolitan polish for rural unease, but retains the Italian mystery’s methodical investigation, sinister art-world clues, and steadily tightening dread.
Why this pick
Its glamorous settings, anonymous black-clad murderer, elaborate visuals, and fast-moving body count make it a strong match for Torso’s lurid elegance.
Why this pick
A journalist’s investigation unfolds through fragmented evidence and striking modernist spaces, preserving Torso’s cool visual design and suspicious, clue-led momentum.
