02 / THE OPENING SCENE
Three clues.
Your next watch.
No perfect prompt required. A few favourites or a little atmosphere is enough to begin.
01 / Bring your favourites.
Search for a title and choose the correct result using its year and Movie or Series label. Add three favourites: all movies, all series, or a mix. We look for the taste connecting all three. The order does not matter.
02 / Or tell us the mood.
Describe your evening, who you are watching with and what you want to feel. “A quiet rainy night, something thoughtful but hopeful” gives us more to work with than “something good”. Avoid including private or sensitive information.
The three Suggestions cards are shortcuts to ready-written mood prompts. Their pictures set the atmosphere; they do not select the pictured movie as an input.
03 / Fine-tune the possibilities.
Optional filters cover original languages, production countries, release periods and runtime. For a series, runtime means an average episode. These depend on catalogue information, which can be incomplete. Filters selected in the finder also apply when you use a Suggestions card.
04 / Follow the connection.
Our AI curator suggests candidates and explains the connection without intentionally revealing plot twists. We match them against TheTVDB before showing up to five results. When we cannot verify enough matches, you may see fewer.
All-movie or all-series inputs favour that format; mixed inputs can produce either. You can check a title, watch an available trailer or add it to your shortlist. Recommendations are not verified age ratings: check suitability before watching with children.
One title can lead to another.
Movies like and Shows like pages have their own recommendations based on that one title. They are separate from your personal three-title selection. Ready recommendations are reused for up to 60 days; visiting a page does not mean a fresh AI answer every time.
