What is in use today?

CineHunch uses session and request-protection cookies for login and secure forms. The encrypted cinehunch_guest cookie remembers an anonymous browser identifier for daily search allowances for up to one year. Clearing cookies creates a new browser identity; network-level abuse controls still apply. Choosing “Keep me signed in” can also create a persistent login cookie. These support the account features you request.

Your guest shortlist uses afterframe-shortlist-v2 in local storage. When you sign in, it is merged into your server-stored account shortlist and the guest copy is removed after successful syncing. The introduction uses afterframe-intro-v1. Current finder inputs and results use afterframe-finder-v2 in session storage. Shortlist and introduction preferences remain until cleared; finder state normally lasts for the tab’s session.

afterframe-consent-v1 remembers your cookie choice for six months. Blocking browser storage may mean your preference cannot be remembered. You can still use the site.

Analytics and advertising.

Google Analytics loads only after you allow Analytics in Cookie settings. It uses cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to measure visits and usage. Choose Essential only to decline, or reopen Cookie settings to withdraw permission and stop further collection. Existing cookies may remain until they expire or you clear them. AdSense is not installed.

Rejecting optional cookies does not remove a shortlist you asked us to save or sign you out. Clear browser data to remove guest items. To remove account shortlist items, use the shortlist controls while signed in.

Images, trailers and external links.

External image requests are separate from optional analytics cookies. Playing a trailer connects to the video provider; the embedded YouTube player uses its privacy-enhanced domain. Opening IMDb, TheTVDB or other external links takes you to services with their own policies.

Change your choice.

Cookie settings are always available in the footer. No optional category is enabled by default, and refusing is available alongside accepting.
