Why this pick
A stylish, emotionally bruising revenge noir built around a taciturn man pushed past betrayal, with elegant violence, night-city mood, and a similarly mournful romantic undercurrent.
Why this pick
This ghost story shares The Crow’s sympathy for the dead and its tragic romantic ache, using tactile Gothic imagery and a haunted setting where grief lingers physically.
Why this pick
For The Crow’s poetic devotion and decaying-city beauty, this offers immortal lovers, nocturnal Detroit, music-soaked melancholy, and a gentler but equally stylized meditation on enduring love.
Why this pick
Its neon-lit nights, propulsive soundtrack, outsider antihero, and sleek bursts of violence retain the cool, dark-pop charge that makes The Crow feel like a rock elegy.
Why this pick
A grieving, isolated man emerges from the shadows to protect someone vulnerable, delivering the same mixture of sorrow, righteous fury, and crisp, cathartic action.
