Why this pick
Like Khubsoorat, this is a warm, gently comic family-household story where a cheerful outsider loosens entrenched routines and brings affection back into everyday life.
Why this pick
Its playful, intelligent comedy and affectionate ensemble recall Khubsoorat’s light touch, finding humour in respectable family life rather than cruelty or broad farce.
Why this pick
A relaxed, humane comedy of domestic pressures and romantic complications, carried by the same kind of conversational wit and fondness for imperfect people.
Why this pick
This official modern remake preserves the central clash between a spontaneous young woman and a rule-bound household, recast as a glossy, breezy romance.
Why this pick
For Khubsoorat’s easy-going charm, this offers another observant Hindi middle-class comedy, with family expectations, lovable interruptions, and romance unfolding through lively everyday conversation.
