Why this pick
Its scrappy band dynamics, Dublin texture and collision of huge musical ambition with unruly personalities echo Frank’s affectionate, lived-in portrait of making music together.

Why this pick
A gentler companion to Frank: intimate, unpolished songwriting and a small creative partnership carry the same belief that music can reveal feelings people struggle to say aloud.

Why this pick
It shares Frank’s blend of deadpan strangeness, painful vulnerability and humane comedy, with musical moments used as releases of character rather than showmanship.
