Why this pick
Matches the affectionate, highly self-aware slasher parody energy, but pairs the cabin-camp carnage with a surprisingly sincere emotional core and polished 1980s-horror visual playfulness.
Why this pick
Its punky, anarchic mix of splattery undead horror, wild comic timing, and characters who react to genre rules in the least helpful ways shares the same lovable B-movie spirit.
Why this pick
For the deliberately tasteless, handmade midnight-movie side: an aggressively strange serial-killer comedy with broad performances, repetitive gags, and proudly repulsive cult-film gusto.
Why this pick
A compact, cheerfully trashy 1980s kill-fest whose mall-bound teens, ludicrous premise, practical effects, and unembarrassed B-movie fun align with the spoofed slasher pleasures of your pick.
