Why this pick
A sleek, underseen techno-noir built around false identities and destabilized reality; its measured investigation and retro-futurist corporate atmosphere closely suit Cypher’s conspiratorial pull.
Why this pick
This compact chamber thriller shares Cypher’s amnesia-like disorientation and shifting allegiances, keeping the viewer aligned with men who must reconstruct both their circumstances and identities.
Why this pick
For Cypher’s uneasy psychological texture: an isolated worker follows clues through insomnia, guilt, and institutional bleakness, with a controlled pace that keeps perception unsettlingly unstable.
Why this pick
A foundational corporate-conspiracy thriller whose cool, procedural surface steadily becomes more threatening. Its lone protagonist and impersonal power structures are a strong match for Cypher’s mood.
Why this pick
It shares Cypher’s elegant, reality-bending suspense and fascination with identity as something engineered or performed, unfolding through a troubled man’s increasingly uncertain perspective.
