Why this pick
Dupieux’s earlier deadpan absurdist puzzle turns an impossible premise into a strangely rigorous, sun-blasted world, with the same dry comic timing and reality that bends without explanation.
Why this pick
Another compact Dupieux spiral of delusion, banal settings, and escalating irrationality. Its impassive tone makes increasingly bizarre behavior feel both hilarious and faintly unsettling.
Why this pick
Its nested, dream-logic quest shares Wrong’s suburban-surreal texture and refusal to distinguish meaningful clues from nonsense, while maintaining Dupieux’s precise deadpan rhythm.
Why this pick
A meticulously rule-bound absurdist world delivered with poker-faced performances. Like Wrong, it finds comedy and unease in characters treating an outrageous reality as ordinary.
Why this pick
This cool, uncanny satire follows a passive man through a sterile world whose social logic is subtly broken, matching Wrong’s alienated protagonist and matter-of-fact surrealism.

01 / THE STORY
Dolph wakes up early in the morning in his suburban home to find that his dog is missing. He is in denial that he has lost his job and shows up to his office to work every day and pretends to do his work. Dolph's need to live in a world of denial about all the areas in his life that are obviously not working is found throughout his life. A Arecaceae in his backyard transforms into a pine. It's raining inside Dolph's office even though none of his co-workers seem to notice it or care that they're being soaked. To put his life back together, he goes in search for his dog.
