02
The Dream Team
Why this pick
Its ragtag group dynamic and unapologetically crowd-pleasing French humor echo Aladdin’s appeal: colorful personalities, fast comic reversals, and a light feel-good payoff.
03
Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra
Why this pick
This similarly exuberant French fantasy spoof combines playful anachronisms, gags, flamboyant production design, and a knowingly silly adventure tone without asking for much seriousness.
04
The Visitors
Why this pick
For the same broad, irreverent comic momentum, this sends wildly out-of-place characters through escalating culture-clash gags, driven by physical comedy and a very French farcical rhythm.
