Why this pick
Like High School Debut, it turns an inexperienced girl’s self-reinvention into a bright, playful romance with a teasingly aloof schoolmate and escalating feelings.
Why this pick
Its wholehearted high-school courtship shares High School Debut’s buoyant sincerity, comic misunderstandings, and affectionate focus on learning how to express first love.
Why this pick
A school romance built around a heroine changing how she presents herself, with warm ensemble dynamics and more tender emotional hesitation beneath the youthful comedy.
Why this pick
This has the same polished shōjo-manga sweetness: an earnest heroine, a popular boy who seems difficult to reach, and gentle tension around innocent feelings.
Why this pick
It similarly lets romance draw a guarded, inexperienced student into new social confidence, balancing school-life comedy with an appealingly protective central relationship.
