Why this pick
Its phone-bound structure turns limited information and a voice of authority into relentless tension. Like Compliance, it traps the viewer inside assumptions that become increasingly unsettling.
Why this pick
A false accusation ripples through an apparently decent community with painful inevitability. It matches Compliance’s interest in collective certainty, moral panic and the cruelty of social consensus.
Why this pick
This controlled setting examines obedience, role-playing and institutional permission with stark intensity. Its escalating power dynamic closely echoes the uneasy logic behind Compliance.
Why this pick
Shot with an immediate, almost real-time urgency, it follows casual group behavior into appalling territory. It shares Compliance’s suffocating realism and fear of bystanders enabling harm.
