SIMILAR PICKS / A PERSONAL CONNECTION
01
Why this pick
A gleefully artificial country-house whodunit with an eccentric ensemble, rapid-fire jokes, and playful detective-fiction misdirection—ideal if Clue’s theatrical farce matters as much as its murder puzzle.
02
Why this pick
A sharp, game-shaped mystery in which wealthy friends are drawn into a cruel puzzle. It shares Clue’s pleasure in clues, shifting alliances, and a tightly controlled group of suspects.
03
Why this pick
A witty, lavishly staged ensemble mystery that pairs a grand old house with colorful suspects and deft clue-play, while keeping the tone brisk, comic, and satisfyingly theatrical.
04
Why this pick
For Clue’s mansion setting and crowded suspect pool, but with a drier, more intricate social-comedy edge. Its overlapping dialogue makes the household itself feel like a wonderfully suspicious machine.
05
Why this pick
A polished, stagey duel of wit inside an elaborate country home. It trades Clue’s large cast for escalating verbal games, locked-room atmosphere, and wonderfully ornate visual design.
