SIMILAR PICKS / A PERSONAL CONNECTION
01
Why this pick
Shares Bio Zombie’s distinctly Hong Kong blend of everyday urban spaces, oddball humour and mounting apocalyptic unease, with a scruffy ensemble reacting to chaos rather than heroic zombie fighters.
02
Why this pick
A playful Hong Kong supernatural comedy with low-level recruits, colourful genre energy and affectionate local texture; it carries a similarly irreverent, offbeat spirit beneath its monster mayhem.
03
Why this pick
Its contemporary Hong Kong setting, rowdy young characters and comic-book zombie action make it a natural follow-up to Bio Zombie’s neon-lit, knowingly trashy fun.
04
Why this pick
For Bio Zombie’s mix of social misfits, splattery chaos and local satire, this wildly energetic Taiwanese zombie comedy turns institutional dysfunction into deliberately unruly genre fun.
05
Why this pick
It has Bio Zombie’s affection for petty schemers and eccentric small-time characters, using a zombie premise for warm, absurd comedy rather than polished horror seriousness.
